Principal’s Message

Welcome to Lott Elementary, home of an outstanding faculty and an amazing student body! We value our supportive parents/guardians and appreciate their genuine concern for their student’s education. In order to prepare our students for a future of lifelong learning, campus educators provide each student daily with a quality education based on the latest research. Students are given the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to function in the 21st century, inclusive of hands-on activities to the abstract learning level. The tools of technology continue to be incorporated into the student’s daily experiences. Each student is monitored and challenged to meet their fullest educational potential. One of the measures used for student development is state and federal testing requirements under the Student Success Initiative. Our priority is to educate the whole child while empowering him or her to reach their full potential. We constantly emphasize respect, responsibility, and academic success. Rosebud-Lott ISD uses a grading and attendance program called TxEIS. As part of TxEIS, parents can utilize the “parent portal”(txConnect); which allows them to see real time grades and attendance via the internet. In the event that a household does not have internet access, parents and teachers must develop open dialogue about a student through conferences and phone conversations. We are proud that Lott Elementary provides a positive “small school” environment. The staff and students are grateful for the support of home and community. We continue to strive in building relationships that will enhance the learning of all our students. I hope that you and your student have a wonderful learning experience this year at Lott Elementary School. If at any time you have questions or concerns, please contact me at (254) 584-4251 or at
